Post-FO thoughts

I feel like I have a lot of things to say about my first Freshman Orientation as an GL, but I don't even know how to put it into words.

But I guess to sum it all up, it was tiring, yet fulfilling. Especially when our freshies post Instagram dedications for us GLs or even texting us individually to thank us :-) It's just really heartwarming you know, that I've made an impact on someone's life and they know my name and even want a picture with me!!!!! 

Also the friendships forged during this camp with all the others involved in the camp, from the programmers, food department, logistics to the other GLs... It's just really nice la. Like we've worked on this 3-day camp for more than 4 months, and I'm just really grateful that I know SO many more people now. It's like HSS has been my school for 2 years, but it's only now where I truly realize how much we really are like one, big family. On the first night of the orientation during a debrief (after the freshies had gone home), something happened and the committee members had to "evacuate" the whole auditorium of more than 150 people??? But afterwards, both the people I was close to and people I barely even knew would come up to me to ask if I was okay, and the girls even just gave me a huge hug :-) Also small things like talking or cheering or even smiling at the other students involved in this camp (that I didn't even knew existed before) just makes me REALLY happy la :-) Like there was this girl from another empire who kept smiling at me and saying I was cute (HAHA) when I was dancing (yes) with a few others at the front of everyone else... Or like hugging people I only knew for 3 days when HSS won the champion title of the first ever TP Olympiad :-)

Also I got to take a picture with my EC at the end of the camp and !!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything's going ((very very)) good huehue. I have a few backlogs to post before posting the pictures from the orientation itself but I just wanted to post this before I forget everything HAHA. OK BYE I HAVE A DIALOGUE SESSION WITH SOME MINISTER TOMORROW AND IDEK WHAT TO EXPECT D-:
