Peanut butter and jelly crumpet for breakfast!!!! It was the last of my crumpet that I bought from Australia and I'm quite sad : (
Wearing my new shirt from Aussie to make full use of the $10 I paid for it haha
Headed back to school to meet the OSIP people and our supervisor, Ms Kek to settle stuff for TP Rawks!!! It's like an "orientation" camp for Sec 4/5 students who have just finished their O Levels and are deciding which school to go to...... and we were the only Psych Year 3 students free to help out since everybody else was still on internship HAHA
Found 2 TVs that we could use for our activity "stations" and Ms Kek was so excited LOL
Cooked tanghoon for lunch and threw in whatever I could find in the fridge since I was craving for meat LOL

16 November (Monday)
Had to go back to school for TP Rawks!!! Went to the newly renovated TP library first to print some stuff for uni scholarship applications and

EVERYTHING LOOKED SO DIFFERENT AND NEW wtf I'm a Year 3 student but I must have looked like a lost Year 1 walking around lolol
Starting our TP Rawks day by collecting food for all the helpers LOL
We had to travel down to this building that was LITERALLY on the other side of TP (2 bus stops away) to get the food... And Ms Kek was like: "Kevin I COMMAND you to drive us there" HAHAHAHAHAHA
Our Psychology course's station was held at the SPANKING NEW Psychology Applied Research Center (PARC)!!!! It super nice cause we now have a room dedicated specially to conducting our Psychology research studies/experiments HEHEHEHE

The Psychology station is for the sec 4/5 students to learn more about our course, and we have a total of 4 sub-stations teaching them about the diff Psychology fields: Criminal Psych, Physiological (aka Bio) Psych, Cognitive Psych and Social Psych (mine!!)
L: Sadly in comparison to the other sub-stations, my room was the puniest and had NO windows cries HAHA
R: My script and activity!! basically I just introduce the students to Social Psychology, then get them to answer the question on the paper strips. The point of this activity is to show that when you're "invisible" (i.e. nobody can see u), people tend to do things that go against the social norms (i.e. bad/illegal things like stealing/pranking people) SO YA LOL
AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF TP RAWKS
Also the mirror is so black because it's a 2-way mirror thing!!! It's the kind you see on crime shows and interrogation rooms (i.e. one side acts as a window, the other acts as a mirror) AND NOW THE PSYCHOLOGY COURSE HAS OUR OWN HEHE
Basically in TP Rawks, have 1-2 sessions per day and each session is 2 hours. So for the entire 2 hours, we're just at our station repeating the SAME lines over and over again for all the groups that come in. The thing is, the groups come in continuously and we really have no time to rest (or notice how tired) we are HAHA.
We did this for about 4 sessions (8h) across 3 days and at the end of the last session, MY JAW HURT SO MUCH FROM TALKING LOL.
It was quite awkward at some points la because some students don't participate as much, but for the most parts it was actually quite fun!! Since these students are all learning about the various courses in TP, I also got to talk a bit about my experience as a TP Psychology student WHICH I LOVE LOL. But when I asked if anybody was interested in joining Psychology, they usually say no because they all said it's quite hard to get in :( . I did get a few students who were actually interested in joining and asked a few questions though, so that was nice!!!
Also AS EXPECTED, a lot of students asked: "
can you read minds?" LOL HAHAHA SORRY BUT NOPE

Anyway I went to Bedok Mall afterwards to meet my cousins for dinner!!! We had put off this dinner for really long because I went for Australia and disappeared for 1.5 months OOPS

We also got Llao Llao because Jing Went wanted it, and we all followed suit LOL
Had no seats to eat our Llao Llao... so we ate in KaiBoon's & JingWen's car HAHAHAHA
KB sent me and Pamelia home afterwards!!!! It was a short dinner but I swear it was the most fun I've had in a long while since I went to Australia for internship. Australia wasn't NOT fun, I just felt a little (lot) out of place majority of the trip. It's not like the people I went with weren't nice (they were), I was just interested in different things???
...And when I met up with my cousins for dinner, I finally felt like I fitted in y'know?? I didn't feel intimidated and I could finally contribute to the group's conversations. We laughed so much and talked so loud and I just felt REALLY happy that night :-) And the BEST part was knowing that these are people that's going to be with me for life BECAUSE WE ARE GENETICALLY RELATED LOL.
anyway it was such a good night la i cannot emphasize that enough :)
Bought bread from Duke Bakery AND IT WAS SO DISAPPOINTING T_T
The walnut cheese bread had BARELY any cheese inside???? Usually they're super generous but I think I just got a bad one :(. I think I won't be buying more from Duke any time soon because it's expensive and I didn't even finish my loaves this time round wtf :(
