3 October (Saturday)
So as I mentioned in the previous post, we were on our way to the Botanic Gardens when we walked past the SA Museum!!!
and we decided to go in on a whim
Anyway entrance to the museum is free, except for like the "special" exhibitions (when we went, it was an exhibition on opals and there was an entrance fee for that)
The first exhibit we saw which didn't interest me that much so I mostly just wandered around
Saw these little personal computer thingies that had a more detail explanation on the stuff there AND I WAS SO FASCINATED!!!
At this point I was quite bored because I wasn't very interested in the 2 exhibitions that we saw (about the aboriginals??) and I thought that was the end of the museum.... Until we decided to venture up a flight of stairs we stumbled across AND LO AND BEHOLD!!!!!!! They had a HUGE exhibition for marine animals and I just kept squealing because I was so excited!!!!! I had wanted to go to "The Deep" exhibition at Arts Science Museum in Singapore but didn't have the chance to :-( Plus it was only a temporary one with an entrance fee, so when I saw the free one at the SA Museum I WAS LITERALLY JUMPING AROUND IN JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had Sydney snap these pictures for me HEHEHEHEHEHE
I usually avoid asking others to take pictures of me BUT LOLOLOLOL I COULDN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!!!!! So I had to take multiple pictures of myself there just to commemorate this very special moment lel
From Sydney's snapchat HAHA - I think I was on the ground to take selfies with the marine animal displays lolol
I took a lot more pictures because I wanted to remember every single thing I saw there... but I won't spoil it/bore yall hahaha
BUT THAT WAS NOT THE END, because from the corner of my eye I SAW ANOTHER EXHIBIT FOR LAND ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!
ERMAGERD
THIS EXHIBIT WAS EVEN COOLER BECAUSE THE ANIMALS LOOKED SO LIFE LIKE???????????? OMG
EVEN MORE ANIMALS on the ground floor!!!!!
Jerlyn L(l)am(as)
ok abrupt ending because no more photos at the museum LOL
Since we spent way too much time there and Botanic Gardens had closed, we just decided to venture around and ended up at the University of South Australia LOL (more pics in my dslr but still lazy to edit them hahahah)
So big and pretty!!!!
Eating my $0.90 poppyseed bagel that I bought from Central Market earlier on hehe
4 October (Sunday)
I think on this day we just decided to sleep in and stay home to ~rest~
Which means that I get to cook a nicer breakfast for myself: 1/2 a crumpet with chocolate hazelnut spread, and scrambled eggs with leftover chicken from dinner 2 days ago LOL
Also (followed the rest to have) dinner at Glenelg Barbeque Inn later on
KEVIN'S HUGE ASS STEAK FOR ONLY $30+ and it was yumz
