3 October (Saturday)
Good sunny weather calls for a selfie and cropped tops and shorts!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the plan for that day was to go to Central Market (to look around/lunch) > Botanic Gardens > Central Market (get groceries).... but spoiler alert: the plan didn't follow through hahahaha
2nd visit to Central Market because the first time we went, most stores were closed already ooPS
Apparently Saturday is when all the stores have last minute sales on their produce/fruit/veggies to clear stock because they don't open on Sunday???? Everything was cheaper and I was vvv tempted to get strawberries but it was still early and I didn't want to lug them around :-(
omg

THE TANDOORI NAAN IS SO CHEAP AND HUGE so we bought 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just last week I bought a tiny puny one from the Indian restaurant at Jetty Road (where we stay) for $2.50 wtf I felt so cheated
omg
omg
these were greek donuts with honey (aka Loukoumades) AND THEY WERE SO SINFUL BUT SO GOOD WTF!!!!!!!!!!! only $6 and it was a huuuuuge serving omg so yummy
A second-hand book store in Central Market which looked interesting but not cheap hahaha
There was another second-hand book store in Jetty Road as well (they've sinced closed down) and the books there aren't exactly cheap either???? Like $8-$12 for a second-hand book which I thought was still preetty steep, considering that most of the books weren't in the best condition either (think most singapore library books). The books in the thrift shops are so much cheaper!!!! When Mav came over, we went on an impromptu thrift shop hunt and bought books for $3-5 only hehe
Vintage commando comic books because it reminded me of my own commando hehehehehehehe
doing my thing while the rest look at meat L O L
hahahaha
byyyyeeee central market!!!!!!!!!! my first visit was disappointing because most stores were closed but after seeing it in its "full potential", I think it's really worth a visit!!
also side note: my legs look vvvvv nice and long in this picture LOL
was very amused by all the balloons in the bus LOL
QT OLD MAN WE SAW EATING SCONES AND CREAM
en route to Botanic Gardens!!!
way too excited to be in the sun LOL
Otw to Botanic Gardens, we saw the South Australian Museum and decided to go in to look around... but ended up spending too much time there LOL. By the time we were done, Botanic Gardens had long closed......... but so worth it!!!! the museum was really fun but next post ok bye!!!
