30 September (Wednesday) 
stay-home work day again wuuhuu so I got to make a decent breakfast LOL 

eggs and super soft and fluffly multigrain rolls from Woolworths :-9

More multigrain rolls for lunch... on my room floor HAHAHAHA


L: was probably too lazy to even go down to the living room to do my work that day so I just did it on the floor wtf
R: beef pho for dinner later that night!!!! so so so lucky to have shiok dinner everyday hehe

1 October (Thursday) 

L: Half a crumpet with chocolate hazelnut butter and A HUGE BOWL OF STRAWBERRIES hehehehe
R: Packed lunch 1 of bars and a peanut butter crumpet


L: Packed lunch 2 of cous cous (because it was going to be a long day in school)
R: Lunch break with Switched At Birth and cous cous... which was utterly disgusting :( I had a few bites and stopped because bluerrhghghg

Thursday meant late-night shopping and shops end at 9pm (instead of the usual 5pm) so we headed out after school!!! Wanted to go to Marion which was nearer to home... but we took the wrong bus and ended up at Rundle Mall wtf LOL

well at least we saw a cute boy band


CHIIIIIIIIIIPS!!!!!!!! so oily but the garlic aioli sauce was so yummy????



Went back home after a bit of shopping...

...and had $11 roasted chicken we bought from Coles!!! Super nice and also worth it because the 4 of us couldn't even finish it???

Skype date in the morning with our co-supervisor, Rebecca Flower (ikr!! her name is so nice)

and lunch from yesterday's dinner leftovers in the office alone LOL
it was nubbad but I didn't even finish the bread and curry GASPS

Flinders Uni is preeeetttty big so we went to this bridge to explore before catching the bus home

29 September (Tuesday) 

the toilet that I dropped my phone in the previous day BOO
but i luv my new jacket from Factorie!!! it was $19.95 on sale but with further discount, it ended up being only $14.95!!! which is still quite expensive by my standards la BUT I've been wanting a nice denim jacket like this for really long!!!!!


especially cold that day wtf ridics 12 degrees leh!!! so I succumbed and bought hot chocolate


$2 BOOTS THAT I REALLY LIKE so must take more pictures!!


Went to Coles to get a few groceries after school and I was so happy because I finally got strawberries!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't been updating as much as I'd like to, but I have only a bit over a week left here in Adelaide.. And I really want to make full use of my time here just experiencing everything. 

Also!!!! Mainly because Mav surprised me by coming to Adelaide (IKR!1!!11??1?11!?1?1) on my 2nd last week here!!!!!!! He's already been here for 5 days and we've just spent A LOT of time together, trying to explore Adelaide together and making up for the past 4 weeks we didn't see each other haha. I really respect couples in LDRs because being apart from Mav for just a month was so hard!!!!!!! Up till now I can't believe someone would fly to another country just to be with me for 6 days because NOT CHEAP LEH :---(( Also ever since we started dating, we've never spent like 6 days in a row together for so long + in a diff country and it's just SO NICE ugh!!!!!! 

Anyway it's only 9 more days till I fly back to Singapore.. And as much as I do enjoy the extremely relaxed lifestyle I have here, I truly do miss home and all my loved ones and I can't wait to be back :-)

Day 183

20 October 

For picking me up when I laughed too hard (at you) and fell on your living room floor 

For forcing me to take meds for my sore throat.. and then relenting and letting me eat a cookie because I was whining 

For always getting up from wherever you're seated just to refill my bottle the moment you notice that I've finished drinking the water 

For picking me up from a bar at 1am because you thought I was drunk and wanted to make sure I got home safe 

For massaging my wrists whenever my hand hurts from holding yours for too long 

For making sure that you're standing on my right because I once made a passing remark that I preferred it like that 

For sneakily taking down notes of my clothing sizes ("just in case I want to buy clothes for you in the future") or places I want to eat at 

For sending me voice recordings of you saying "goodnight" every night before you sleep 

For always letting me sit on your comfy chair while you sit on the plastic stool 

For letting me choose and listen to rap songs on YouTube whenever I'm over at your house (even though u absolutely hate it)
For holding my hands even when you're reading a book
For meeting all my friends and relatives to make me happy, even though you're not a huge fan of social interactions
For always making an effort to surprise me, be it with kaya waffles after school or showing up unexpectedly at my house clutching 3 plastic bags of gifts and a bouquet of flowers on my birthday 

For sending me all the way home to my doorstep even if it's late at night 

For saying "I love you so so much"/"I really really love you" instead of just "I love you"
For changing your Skype display picture to a screenshot I took of you yawning because it always made me laugh
For accompanying me to my family dinners and bringing me to yours
For picking out all the soft fries for me and eating the remaining crispy ones
For giving me massages without me asking whenever I say my shoulder hurts
For following me to church even though you've been agnostic/atheist for the longest time because you knew how much my religion meant to me and you wanted to make an effort
For always making sure that we never go to sleep without leaving anything unsettled
For walking with me under the hot sun just to find a bakery I really wanted to try
For finishing up my food for me because I get full way too easily
For always carrying my plastic bags/laptop and making sure my hands are free
For always making the effort to text/call me whenever you get the chance to in army, and for apologizing when you don't get to say goodnight to me
For never having arguments/not being angry with me, except when I'm stubborn and not taking good care of my health
For never being afraid to express your love for me (even in front of all my friends)
For always including me in your future plans because you have faith that our relationship will be long-term
For being my number 1 fan and a constant source of support
For always making sure to listen to my side of the story
For loving me more than you love yourself

And for coming all the way to Adelaide from Singapore through a 16 hour flight just to spend time with me while I'm here

27/9 (Sunday) 
1 week since I left Singapore for Adelaide!!

Jetty Road @ Glenelg


Wore my $2 boots for the first time huehue
and in stark contrast is Sydney's expensive Dr Martens next to me LOL


wuuuhuuuu tram
it's waaay more regular than the buses AND IT HAS WIFI and it's wonderful!!!


At the Victoria Square tram stop to make our way down to Adelaide Festival Center... also we later realized that we could have taken the tram down 1 or 2 more stops LOL because we had to walk for quite awhile


Just past Rundle Mall and straight ahead!!!



At the OzAsia Festival!! Also I realized OZ = Aussie how ingenious LOL

wew wew where my asian homies at!!!


excited to see Asian elements all around LOL


SINGAPOREAN FOOD!!!!!!!!!! BUT RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE boohoo :(


also the sun was so bright that day FOR THE FIRST TIME in a week and it was so hot!!!


Filipino satay that so many people were queuing up for


used my jacket to shield myself from the scorching bright sun and this Australian guy walked past and said: "hey a ghost" HAHAHA


SO VIBRANT AND PRETTY!!! there are so many lanterns because they were celebrating the mid-autumn lantern festival hehe



We saw a Flinders University booth and Andria and Sydney got free balloons..... while I took free stickers and free frisbees and free badges LOL #aunty



Plenty of food trucks around... but also plenty of people


Shared fairy floss with Andria because SWEETS


There wasn't much activities to do except to sit and have a picnic OR buy food from the food trucks so we just walked around


Also I needed a toilet so we had to walk out of the festival to the train station (????) nearby to pee LOLOL

and we went back haha

IT GOT INSANELY CROWDED and we had such a hard time maneouvering through the crowds LOL


We quickly found a spot on the grass and sat down to wait for the lantern parade + fireworks


thank God I wore jeans LOL because unlike everybody else... we didn't bring a mat HAHA


Waiting till the sky got dark and it became really really really really cold again :( even though it was like sweltering hot 2 hours ago


We were seated on the ground for about 2 hours before it got REALLY cold and crowded LOL. There were designated seating areas that are marked by a white strip of paint on the ground, and we thought we got very good seats cause we sat at the edge of the white strip... which basically nobody was sitting in front of us to block us from the view LOL. But at around 7pm people started not caring and sitting in front of us anyway :( even though it was not a seating area :(

Plus it got really cold and we realized we couldn't even see the lantern festival from where we were seated??? So we gave up and left before the fireworks started... not that I'm complaining because it was pretty damn cold HAHA.


see it got really crowded at night???????


We did manage to see the lanterns (those lighted things) as we were leaving though so at least our wait wasn't entirely wasted HAHA


Dabao-ed indian curry and garlic naan back from Jetty Rd cause we were all craving for curry LOL
