4 more days!!!!! Social Psych is so content heavy but it's so interesting!!!! I JUST HOPE THAT I'LL BE ABLE TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING FOR MY TERM TEST lolol ok bye I'm actually sleepy and I shall continue tomorrow 

P.S. I'm going to be using this iPhone 4 until like September (or whenever iPhone 6 comes out) and I'm quite bummed about the camera quality more than anything else... But it's all good because 1) I can and I will shamelessly live off my friends'/mum's phone camera and 2) at least I have a phone SO I WILL BE THANKFUL :-) 

Unconditional

1 more week till the end of my term tests 

3 more weeks to my Perth study trip 

Sleeping at 4am and waking up at 6.50am almost everyday for the past month has not been easy, but I'm doing fine!!! Even though (sometimes) I can't help but to resent and question what I'm doing to my body and what I'm doing with my life, I know that I'm really, really fortunate and blessed. I have an education, I have a roof over my head, I have a bed to sleep in, I have a whole wardrobe full of clothes to wear, my fridge and pantry never runs out of food and my parents are able to afford to get me what I want and we aren't struggling to make ends meet. I have a purpose in life (I guess), I'm studying what I love and am interested in and I'm (more or less) doing well in school. 

And Praise The Lord for answering my prayers when I said I really wanted to go to Australia this year and found out the NEXT day about the Psych study trip to Perth wts God is too amazing????????????????

Arrow / New Creation

So cliche and I hate to say this but I've really been so so so busy ever since school started????? 

Just wanted to do a quick update because on Saturday (24/5) I went to my first ever Arrow service!!!! It's like this church service for youths at my church (New Creation) and I actually didn't even know about it (lol) until Hana invited me to go. Tbh I was a bit apprehensive to go at first before omgwtfbbq so much to do and study especially now... But then again studies cannot be more important than time spent with God right???? 

I'm so glad Hana asked me along and that I went... Because the message the pastor preached just spoke out to me and it was so relevant la. She was talking about our REAL TRUE purpose in life, which isn't to get good grades, become a millionaire, marry the love of your life etc, but to really, truly know God. I've been so caught up in studies that I fail to really REALIZE that studies isn't everything. People have been telling me time and time again that my results don't define me and that my current grades won't matter in like 5 years time but I always don't believe them. Like my current grades will still indirectly affect my life what, if I cannot get into Uni my life in 5 years will be affected too, no?? But I guess it's really true la... I really CANNOT be so caught up in studies and be so worried because I know my God will do what's best for me and take care of all my problems. 

Praise and worship was SO so so so so so amazing and just ARKFLCKSMCOSKWJSJSSJ. I felt like everything I did or happened to me was all planned by God and I'm just so overwhelmed by His greatness and power???????????? I was standing in front of the stage with Hana on my left and was surrounded by other youths la, and just being there made me feel so, happy????? It's like everyone was there for 1 purpose, which is to praise and worship our God and I just felt like I really belonged there. It was a really emotional moment and I was just reminded of how much God just really loves me and NEVER gives up on me even though I'm so undeserving of all the greatness that has happened in my life. His love TRULY is unconditional and I really just cannot comprehend all the good things that have happened to me (especially recently) like REALLY LA TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE SERIOUSLY wtf like my emotions CANNOT BE CONTAINED 

Anyway haha just really glad I went for service la and yup 

ALSO I CANNOT WAIT FOR PERTH OMG IT'S SO EXPENSIVE AND MY HEART A BIT PAIN BUT OMGMFKDKDKDOCKSSJSJ PERTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still have to settle like 4 tests and my group project before I can go which sucks but oh well you got to do what you got to do OK BYEEEEE

AND OVOMALTINE CRUNCHY CREAM ($11.50) FROM CANDY EMPIRE (also B2) 

You know how Candy Empire has this "Top 10" display outside of the store right... This occupied like all 10 spots wtf hahahahaha. IT TASTES LIKE NUTELLA WITH CRUNCHY BITS INSIDE and I may or may not have dipped my clean finger in to have my first try yumz

Last 3rd week of school and I'm only left with 1 more assignment (due this Friday 5pm) and 4 tests to study for!!!!!!!! I'm so so so so so glad that it's going to be my term holidays already, even though it only felt like yesterday when I started my first day as a Year 2 student. I might also have the chance to go to Australia (Perth) for a Psychology school trip with Marilyn around 3rd week of June, so I am crossing my fingers and crossing my toes as hard as I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Also good luck to me because this week is going to be dedicated to doing my Counseling Psych literature review ok let's goOoOoOOOooOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Director's List AY13/14

Was not expecting this at all wtf imagine my shock when I saw this email in my inbox?????????????????????????????????????????????????? Like I was just about to send an email to my teacher about my assignment and I saw this and what??????????????????????????????????????????????? 

I've always heard about the Director's List award from my friends and walked past boards with all the names of the Director's List recepients and I'm always like quite amazed la. But I've never really thought about getting it because I just never thought I could actually get it?  

So this really, really boosted my self-esteem (hopefully not in a cocky way) and now I'm even more motivated to continue doing what I'm doing :-) 

And it's just really heartwarming to know that efforts (and all the measly 3 hours of sleep) do pay off, and the email couldn't have come at a more perfect timing, because lately I've been feeling so overwhelmed with work (what's new) and my self esteem was just low low low (what's new) 

And I'm just really amazed and humbled and shocked and overwhelmed and just happy la ahAHhahahHHHahhHHHHHHHHHHahahhhHHHHHHHHH my emotions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Year 2 is not going to be easy but I believe that with God's grace and power and everything I'll be able to pull through and do well AMEN 

Time for my lit review I WILL CONQUER THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I know I should have more confidence in myself and I'm trying ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ I will be better :)

Started our day really late at like 11am and since we didn't really have anything to do/anywhere to go, we went to the Duty Free Shop (DFS) 

Saw a few really nice things but didn't get anything :(

At this huge hardware shop (quite popular in Indonesia) called ACE Hardware
They sell almost everything hardware related from pastry displays to Crayola lunch boxes and even popcorn!!!! Used to go here when I was living in Jakarta quite a lot and I remember always wanting to buy a bag of popcorn haha good times.

Settled for lunch at MM Juice because why not hahaha

Because I was saving my stomach for the next 3 dishes and they're like in my list of top favourite Indonesian  dishes!!!! Indo food is also not very pretty la but don't judge a book by its cover HAHAHA

Siomay Komplit 

Komplit meaning complete la so you get everything in this dish, so besides siomay, there were eggs, potatoes, tofu and some veggies like bittergourd (not a fan)


Pempek Kapal Selam 

Also comes in another version called Pempek Lenjeran (without the egg). Pempek is like this fishcake dish that's typically served with noodles and this light, sweet vinegar sauce. It's superrrrrrrrr good la sigh I really wished Singapore sold pempek seriously. At least Singapore has like fried banana and siumai that I can just dip in satay peanut sauce.... BUT NO PEMPEK THAT I CAN READILY HAVE (╥﹏╥)


Pisang Goreng Keju 

Ya this is my baby lol enough said and even though it was breaded and not battered it will always still be my baby

Those are like Indonesian chocolate cereal and it was only SGD0.10 per packet wtfff I damn regret buying only 3????? The Tuffis one (brown) tastes just like the Oishi Chocolate Pillow biscuits and it's so cheap and niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Very orange tinted photo of J. Co doughnuts because it was taken when we went back to the villa and I didn't know how to fix it sorry :( We bought like 12 for Kadek and 6 for the hotel staff (6 for ourselves) because they're like so cheap there (~SGD0.50) as compared to in Singapore!!!!!
Anyway on the last day we actually forgot to eat the last 2 donuts. We actually accidentally left it in the villa fridge and only realized like in the airport.................... WASTED cause I really wanted to eat the Oreo one ಥ_ಥ

For dinner, Kadek brought us to Made's Warung for famous Nasi Campur (Indonesian mixed rice) and that was when we parted ways :( :( :( :( :(

Just finished watching Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (ooh fancy) while writing 1,918 words of notes about the movie at the same time. Even though it took me like 4 hours to finish watching the 2 hours movie (cause I had to keep switching to Microsoft Words) I'm so proud of myself!!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed the movie immensely butttttttt writing down all the notes was more mentally draining than I had expected it to be........... Guess I'll have to continue my lit review tomorrow  (◕︵◕)
