day 15/670

Less than an hour ago I was just telling Sam about how I was going to wait for your call at 9pm but later at 8pm & halfway through my nap on the bus (when I was still groggy and half asleep) you texted "calling you in 1 min"..."only have a minute to call today" 

and before getting that text I was all ready to tell you about what a good (albeit mentally draining) day today was but 49 seconds was all we had for you to quickly explain to me that you weren't able to bring your phone to the different camp that you'd be staying at for the next 2 days before you book out (but you still managed to ask me how I was so thank u) 

despite watching all the Commandos documentary episodes on Channel News Asia and making multiple "commandos nsf Singapore" Google searches prior to your enlistment, I wasn't at all prepared for this and it was so sudden and :-( 

but it's ok because at least you managed to squeeze in 15 minutes of texting time today during your short break at 2pm and IT'S OK because I get to see you for 3 or 4 days straight after you book out in 2 days!!!!!!!!!! delayed gratification!!!!!! 

edit: thank God you managed to call again at 8.36pm and thank God I saw my phone vibrating (because I was away from my phone in the kitchen toasting bread to cheer myself up lololol) and it was a good 13 minutes and I'm thankful :))))) the next 2 days will suck but I'll keep myself busy studying and preparing for my project presentations so it'll be a-okay!!!!!!!!! :)))))))
