When I said I wasn't that hungry and didn't want to eat, you didn't force me to eat with you like he used to make me do. After you went to order your meal, you came back with a cup of drink and you asked if I wanted it. I asked "What drink did you get?", thinking that you got Coke (which I don't drink) because it's what you usually get. Instead, you said "Oh, I got Sprite because I know you'll drink that". I only briefly mentioned this once or twice before, but I'm glad you remembered. 10 minutes later, the waiter came to our table with a plate of garlic bread. I thought you were kidding when you said you'd order that for me because I jokingly said "I just feel like eating bread" (because I always do), but you weren't.
After getting my cup of frozen yoghurt, we went to the open plaza upstairs to take a seat. I was sitting beside you quietly using my phone, but you suddenly interrupted me and asked "Are you okay? You're breathing very deeply". You asked because you knew all about the panic attacks I've had in the past few months and I've told you about the "warning signs" before. I laughed because I was just breathless from walking around everywhere, but I was really glad that you'd notice.
Whenever I buy something and take the plastic bag from the cashier, you immediately take it away from me. I never have to ask you to help me carry something, because you'd always make sure that both my hands are free, which was something he never did before. You refused to let me take my three plastic bags and even tried to use only one hand to drink your apple juice, because you wanted to make your other hand free enough to hold mine.
We were standing next to each other and with you being 22cm taller than me, I was suddenly quite curious to know what I looked like from your height. When I asked "I wonder how I look like from your point of view", you immediately replied "Beautiful" without even batting an eyelid.
You didn't sleep well the night before, but you still willingly took an hour's journey to Serangoon because you knew how much I wanted to go to NEX. You were so tired the entire time, but you tried not to let it show. When it was time to go, you insisted on sending me back home. You sent me to my doorstep and eventually fell asleep on the 1 hour+ bus journey back to your home. Later that night you even messaged me, "Thanks for today! Sorry I was so lethargic the whole time :( but I really enjoyed myself."
even after all that I've told you about the past and what i've let you see so far, you still chose to stick around and for that, I'm vvvvv thankful.
