Woke up bright and (very) early to head downstairs to dabao cereal and bread spreads up to our room
...And ate breakfast in our room with food we bought from the mall hehehehe
The view from our room window
Amanda, Val and Nicole
Met Sydney and Sara at 8 because we wanted to explore and walk around before meeting the rest!!!
Even though it was a short 10 minute walk (literally) up the hill and down back to our hotel, it was just really relaxing and really nice to have the freedom
Everything looked so nice and I wished we had more time to explore on our own :( I don't like going on tours because I feel so constricted by the tight schedules and the lack of freedom, but it WAS a school trip so I won't complain too much hahaha. I want to travel with my own family!!!!!!!!!!
Walked back up the hill again to board our tour bus
First stop, Murdoch University!!!!
This is a bit out of place but I saw this poster in one of the toilet cubicles, and it really touched my heart hahaha
Fozzil Jaffar who's basically in charge of international students etc., and he is also a Singaporean!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was clearly very happy with the spread that Murdoch University prepared for us :''''''''''') But seriously speaking, I was super impressed by their hospitality towards us!!!! They even gave us a goodie bag that had a boomerang in it!!!!!
I think this was catered by Aroma Cafe and the quiche that I took was especially nice!!! Everything else I tried was pretty good too and ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT'S PIPING HOT WTF DAMN SHIOK
After eating, we also had a chance to have a chat with Murdoch's staffs and students
One of Murdoch's student, Theo who is (yet again) a Singaporean too!!! He is also doing his honours and has a scholarship wtf I also want :(
When I walked past Theo to get to the food table, he immediately called me out and said "Hi!"..."You're into photography?" I mean of course I was shocked la HAHAHA because in Singapore nobody really just dares to strike up a conversation with a stranger. And I was just very amazed la wtf and really admired his boldness??
He was really friendly and I think it's probably also partly due to his exposure to the Australians??? I've been to Australia twice and both times I noticed that the Australians are super friendly to everyone, including strangers. It's really nothing like Singaporean where we're all just really more conservative???? I don't think we're an unfriendly country la, it's just our culture to not be as outgoing??
Theo and Fozzil (the prev SG speaker) both mentioned something and I found it really true!!! They both said that in Singapore, students are so afraid to speak out and ask questions. However, in Australia it's the total opposite and students are not afraid to ask questions and they even dare to disagree with the lecturers openly etc.

Raining again :(
One of the Exercise Science staff brought us for a tour around their facilities

One of the rooms that had cameras all around to capture 360deg shots of people
Another room with all sorts of training equipments like this bicycle
Was using my 35mm lenses so I could not get a wider angle and get a clearer picture of the room :(
