Uni life is walking 15 minutes to school for a 40 minutes MCQ midterm and then going back to take an afternoon nap. It is having to prepare your "meals" and eat on the same table you study, and then having to wipe the entire table because you spilled some soup and dropped some breadcrumbs. Uni life is holding in your pee and putting off washing your dirty mug & spoon (that smells like the instant soup you just had) because you're too lazy to walk to the toilet/pantry outside.

It is also being conditioned to feel like you can do nothing but study when you're in your room because after all you're perpetually & technically in school (and not home where you can justify spending 2 hours watching tv or rummaging the kitchen).

Uni life is also feeling intimidated by all the other students in your cohort and wanting to change seats because they speak in angmoh accents and perfect english and gr8 vocabulary ("so you're just going to catapult into that") and you're just like "what da fak leh lah lor".  It is feeling the need to be like everyone else and take 7 modules instead of the recommended/average (?) 5, and then reassuring yourself that you are not falling behind, you do not need to overload on modules at the expense of your grades.

I guess my point is despite all these new experiences so far I've been coping better than I had anticipated and I hope to keep this up :-)

sidenote: I finally decorated my table board a few weeks ago!!! just haven't gotten around to blogging my photos so lel WIN_20161004_234158
