My favourite FAVOURITE project group ever!!!!!

WahPheow always talks about how your Special Project group will be the best group you'd ever work with (since not everyone chooses/is chosen to be in this module)... and I really agree???? This is the first project group in my entire poly life where EVERYBODY gets shit done quickly and properly... and for the first time I'm not doing more than I'm supposed to do lol. This group is SO efficient, it's scary LOL.

I didn't have high hopes for the topic our group had, but it's actually super interesting also la!! Basically every Special Project group (there are 3) works with an actual rl organization, and our group worked with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS). For our project, we had to create a protocol on how to administer a "test" to assess a child's literacy skill. So basically we had to create the materials needed for the test (e.g. response booklets, instruction sheets) and even the script so the tester knows what to say/not to say etc. We also had to go down to the DAS centers to do our background research etc and it was such an eye-opening experience???

(after all the presentations) WahPheow who was appalled because Gabby didn't know how to use AirDrop HAHAHAHA

It's my second time being supervised by WP and you REALLY learn a lot from him. Despite all the gossiping sessions and sleeping during meetings (him, not us), he constantly pushes us to always do our best because he does. not. settle. for. mediocrity!!! We spent 8 hours the previous day just for our PowerPoint slides alone because we have to do it accordingly to "WahPheow style" HAHA. Like even the number of words/phrasing of sentences in your PPT slides must be properly done because WP knows how these seemingly "small" things can REALLY affect the way your audience understands your project??? Bummer that we didn't get to work together for Special Project or even the upcoming Major Project either (due to the nature of our internship placements) but it's ok!!!! We'll work together to become doctors ya :-)))

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surprise (half) success because she suspected that Sam & I were going to do something... but she didn't expect Daniel & Kevin to be there HAHA
