Our flight was at 10.40pm and we took Emirates which is naise
Dinner (at like 1am wtf) was chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with macaroni shrimp salad, a bread roll and this capuccino mousse thing
21 September (Monday)
Breakfast of croissant, banana muffin and a fruit salad
Sleeping was a struggle........... so when the 4 of us couldn't sleep anymore, Kevin made me play Mahjong because they needed a 4th player HAHAHA
so pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we sat in the center row seats so I had to zoom all the way in to take this pic hahaha
Finally reached Melbourne to transit!!!! had to take a bus from the plane to the actual airport so that was pretty cool lol I damn suaku
HELLO LOVELY SKIES AND WEATHER AND BYE BYE HAZE
Figuring out how to transit.......... thank God for Andria and Sydney lel i just followed them like a headless chicken
first time taking a domestic flight and the plane is as tiny as our budget airlines (e.g. tiger air) but it was only an hour's flight
they gave us free cookies WHICH WERE ACTUALLY REALY GOOD!!!!!!!! horrible for my sorethroat though lol
and we finally reached Adelaide after ~8 hours of flying and aching butts!!!!!!!
diz be our supervisor and overall in-charge, Dr Robyn Young who very kindly picked us up hehe
Robyn took our luggages and dropped us off at Jetty Rd to explore first, which is also where our accomodation was located at
SO NEAR THE BEACH BUT SO BLOODY COLD
with Sydney and Andria with this vvvv pretty graffitti wall along Jetty Rd!!!!
While waiting for Robyn to pick us up again and bring us to our accomodation hehe
MINI HOUSE TOUR!!!!!!!!!
what you see when you first walk in, with the toilet on the left and kitchen on the right
the very clean kitchen before all our clutter came in HAHA
the second storey is so tiny LOL but that's mine and Andria's room on the left (we get a bunk bed), Sydney's sofa bed in the middle, and Kevin's master bedroom with a balcony on the right wtf
Went to Coles nearby to get our groceries and daily necessities like toilet paper etc
spent quite a bit HAHAHAHAHA oops
also went out for dinner after we unpacked :))
took a few sunset pictures at the beach AND IT WAS RIDICULOUSLY COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had to take out my gloves just so i can take pictures with my iPhone lol sigh touchscreens
was recommended to eat at Hog's Breath by this (cute) telco guy so that's where we went
some $80 set meant for 2
but we shared this among the 4 of us because HOW IS IT MEANT FOR 2
ok abrupt ending but that's all for day 0 & 1 teehee bye!!!!!!
