27 May (Wednesday)

L: Cabbed down to Chinatown after tutorial with Wah Pheow, Andria and Hana to meet the rest of our Special Project crew

R: Lunch!!!! And Wah Pheow's crayfish prawn noodles that he ate in like 5 bites wtf

Anyway we were at Chinatown because we had to visit the DAS (Dyslexia Association of Singapore) center to do some ~*~research~*~ for our Special Project!!!

Spent around 2 hours there just looking at various scripts to edit our proposed grading rubrics!!! Felt quite professional lolol even though it was sOoOOoOOO mentally draining. But I really love my SP group so all is well :~)

After that gruelling 2 hours, headed to one of our graduated senior's (mum's) cafe which was nearby to chill (gossip) a bit (lot)

Talked for awhile before we parted ways hahaha

28 May (Thursday)

Had Prof Comm interview in the morning omg I was SO nervous BUT PRAISE THE LORD because I think I did pretty well :~)))) Managed to answer all the questions (albeit talking very fast) and my tutor didn't rebut me + seemed satisfied with my answers so I think that's a good sign!! ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶

L: Also pizza surprise from Paolo and Mr Lee to encourage us for the upcoming term test week :''''~)

Met Maverick afterwards for dinner and made a vvvv impromptu decision to watch "Make Me Shudder 3" despite my term test being next week lolol

(justifying factor 1: rewarding myself for the morning's successful interview | justifying factor 2: I would have spent that 1.5 hours sleeping anyway if I had went home after dinner | justifying factor 3: Even if I watched the movie and reached home at 10pm, I only go into studying mode after 12am)

So we ended up watching the 7pm movie BUT it was reaaaaalllllly bad lol pls save your money and watch Pitch Perfect 2. The only redeeming part of the movie were the cute main characters BUT THAT'S IT??????

BUT ALL IS VERY WELL BECAUSE I GOT TO VISIT "DOUGH & GRAINS" IN CENTURY SQUARE'S BASEMENT!!!!!!!!!

Have discovered a lot of bakeries nowadays and I just want to go on a bread-hunt one day >:-((( Also speaking of which, Tampines interchange alone HAS SO MANY OF THESE BAKERIES (Petit Provence, Proofer, Yamazaki, Paris Baguette etc) WTF I AM VVV JEALOUS :-( Yamazaki, MK Levure Naturelle and Mama Patisserie are my next on my To-Go lists!!!!

The White Pearl, ($1.90) - My favourite favourite favourite out of all the 3 I bought (and finished eating that same night lololol). So chewy and soft and not overly sweet, which I really liked!!!!!!!! So yummy omg I want to buy MOAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Homemade Sweet Potato ($1.70) - Bread was also vvv chewy!!!!!!! Not something I'd get again, even though it's really quite chio de lolol. I love the pumpkin bun from Green Pumpkin Bakery (@ Nex) a lot more!!!!!!!

Also got Yin & Yang ($1.90), which is basically a black-sesame filled bun covered with white-sesame. I actually don't like sesame seeds AT ALL but reviews all said this was vvv popular???? Super generous with their black sesame filling and it was surprisingly not bad la LOL. Tasted and felt like red bean though ahhahaha. No photos because I ate it at dinner while watching Mav eat his Japanese udon LOL.
