Shopee Haul 6 | China Makeup???????

I am done with Y2S1 of uni and back!!! also thought I'd include a recent photo of me because I (think I) look a bit different from 10 months ago HAHA

Anyway I miss talking about stuff I bought so I'll start with a shopee haul post first????? (ya still very into shopee lol)

These are all the makeup I bought from China (via shopee) because I used up a lot of inhibition studying for finals... and went a bit overboard with buying wtf. I know China makeup sounds super dubious BUT I AM HERE TO CHANGE UR MINDS!!!! Honestly they're super cheap and work great la??? I don't buy imitation goods (i.e. those that are obviously fake but have the exact same packaging/brand name etc haha) because they're probably not checked/safe, but China-based brands are ok!!!!

I do extensive (lmao) research on these makeup items before buying so I usually know what/what not to get. There aren't a lot of blog posts/youtube videos about these makeup so what I do is I turn to Aliexpress!!! Aliexpress sell these items as well and they mostly have A LOT of reviews w/ pictures. Makeup sold online generally don't have the most accurate photos LOL so I check Aliexpress  to see what the colour of the products actually are!! After checking, I buy the stuff on Shopee just because 1) it's usually cheaper, 2) I can collect/use shopee coins, and 3) I just like shopee's function and interface better la lololol

the packaging looked dubious af la HAHAHAHA but it actually kind of works??? I can't vouch for it cause I only used twice haha. It's like a clear liquid but turns into little white balls after you rub it??? idk if the white balls are actually ur dead skin la or it's FAKE LOL but I think it works la

actually now looking at this photo the smudge test was so redundant..............................because obviously the lipsticks ARE GOING TO SMUDGE RIGHT wtf but don't waste my effort la so I leave it here ok lol
Pudaier: This one is such a lovely colour!!!! It dries super matte and doesn't feel drying. Not sure if you gotta let it dry fully or what because it's a little sticky???

Miss Rose: #33 and #46 are very similar lol #46 is maybe sliiightly redder but no significant difference leh haha. #37 is a little patchy but can be worked with. Compared to the Pudaier one, they don't look matte but they are??? That also means they can be a bit drying, though nothing too serious la haha

Focallure: #08 is like my perfect nude lip so idk why I itchy hands buy #12 LOL cause it makes me look sick zzz. These glide on really smoothly wtf I love!! the drawback is that they're not as lasting as the previous two la

Maycheer: The way that this is packaged makes it really troublesome to use??? It's very nice and chio la, but I'm not sure if it'll work as highlight haha

Miss Rose: I freaking love this and I even have one more that hasn't arrived yet haha.
#04 is way too light for my skin tone (so Maycheer will probably not work too lolol) but #01 and #03 is great!!!! #01 is my favourite of them all, because it actually has this duochrome shit going on, where it's silver in some angles and then GOLD IN SOME!!!!! it was only $1.10 when I bought it wtf can't get over it. It looks very lame in the photos but I SWEAR IT'S SUPER CHIO IRL!!!!

KissBeauty: Was slightly disappointed in this cause it's not as metallic as I saw in some reviews ;_; It's very glittery, but I guess the good thing about this is once it sets, it doesn't budge aT ALL. Then again that could be bad because u need to blend it on ur face very quickly else it just stays there as a glittery patch lmao. aiya overall I don't recommend!!!!

These are the Miss Rose ones compared to my Sleek Solstice Palette!! They are really not subtle at all la but I am very excessive so I appreciate it LOL

Contour/Concealers:

Concealer Palette: This one I got a really long time ago just to hit free shipping haha (a lot, if not all, of the China-based Shopee stores require you to hit at least $3 for free shipping). I don't really recommend this at all because I don't know what to use it for??? LOL. I tried to make it work but none of the colours suit me wtf and I can't even use any for contour. It's not that they're bad, cause they're honestly super creamy and quite easy to blend. The swatches were with like 1 swirl around the pan wtf. I mean it's very cheap la so if you think the colours will suit you then by all means, get it HAHAHA

Contour Palette: Same with this, very creamy but none of the colours look okay for me wtf ;_; Though looking at the pictures now, the colours don't even look bad la so I might as well give these another go LOL

Anyway I actually ordered a powder contour palette la but the shop (ysl.sg) wrongly sent this to me instead ahaha. It's all good cause they accepted my request for a refund (so technically this was freee for me L O L), and overall their customer service is just great la!!! I had a few problems with my orders for their shop which resulted in me having to cancel my orders 3 times... but they were a joy to work with so I'm not even mad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

Eyeshadow/Eyeliners/Eyebrow Stuff: 

Focallure Eyeshadow Palette - $3????? (got this really long ago so I lost the link, but it's very easy to find on Shopee haha, just search "10 color eyeshadow")

(Horse oil????) Eyebrow Cream - $1.27 (link here) 
Eyebrow pencils from China-based stores are generally vvv good and cheap!! The popfeel one is my favourite, but the (obnoxiously) pink one does the job too. I used to get the Etude House $5.90 (??) ones, but these ones are way cheaper and do the same thing. The eyebrow cream is new, so I haven't tried it out yet but reviews look promising!! One side is like a little eyebrow slanted brush, while the other side is where the eyebrow cream is.


Focallure Eyeshadow Palette: The shimmery shades in these are seriously very pigmented and great!! The swatches were achieved with just one swipe ok!!!! The matte shades are quite patchy and meh. It took like 3 swipes to get decent pigment so I don't really use them haha. Based on what I've seen around on Aliexpress reviews, shimmer shades cannot go wrong one hahahaha so it's a safe bet


Popfeel Highlight/Contour Pen in #04: the item actually feels quite solid and good quality wor!!! I actually prefer theirs over my $16 Etude House one's wtf. Anyway the highlight portion for this is RUBBISH lol... smells like crayon and doesn't glide on easily....... The contour on the other hand, is vv creamy and easy to blend!!!!

Miss Rose Dual Eyeliner: HAHAHAHAHA THIS ONE IS GENIUS!!!!! The stamp makes winged eyeliner freaking easy to draw????? It's basically like the Vamp Stamp la hahaha but way cheaper. The only downside is the eyeliner formula itself isn't the greatest, it isn't the blackest and will smudge (2nd pic) :(

Yanqina Eyeliner: Wa this one is quite black and solid lolol. I haven't worn all these out for a full day yet la but VERY PROMISING based on first impressions!!! I saw some shop on Shopee selling a bundle of 12 for $4.68 ok wtf damn ridiculous I love it

ok that is all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy that I have so much to play with and I didn't even spend that much lolololol. Of course the disadvantage is delivery takes like 2-4 weeks cause it's from China but I WILL WAIT!!! I still have 1 more parcel on its way....... and am about to make another one lmao bye

since we r on the topic of makeup:

I also reorganized my ~vanity~ area when I was rly bored from studying LOL. I am very pleased because everything fits just nice!! Acrylic organizers are from Shopee also hahaha they're usually like $10-15 but I got them for like $5+ each HAHAHA. anyway unfortunately (or not), I still have quite a significant amount of makeup in hall also LOLOLOL. I'll probably need to find more space when I do move out of hall in year 3 (???)........................ but until then :--)
