once upon a time my mum would ask me: "why don't you wear makeup like other girls" and i'd scoff and be like: "ew no thx". Yet who would have expected that a few years down the road I'd be doing a post advocating the exact opposite wtf 

anyway clearly not a very proper review at all la, but when i post these hauls I tend to blabber on w/ my opinions about the product..... so take it with a pinch of salt ok cause I'm a noob w/ completely no experience on what's good or bad HAHAHA

T: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm 

I always hated wearing lipstick (throwback to prom when I wiped off everything my mum put on my face) and this was the VERY first lip thing I tried after 3 years +++++ actually liked?????? Weiling let me try this the first day we were in bkk (w/ Kim) and everyday after that I kept asking: "weiling can u lend me ur lipstick" wtf. About a week after we got back, weiling ended up giving this to me............ AND THE REST IS HISTORY

Anyway this is a nice nudey pink colour and it smells EXTREMELY sweet but the smell goes away.  

B: Silky Girl Matte Junkie Lip Cream in Glamour 

Weiling got this for me when she went to Langkawi :") my thoughts below because I haven't used this as much as my other one yet 

T: Colorpop Lippie Stix in Frida 

Bought this from Weiling (cause she thought it was too pink) on the same day she gave me Stockholm, so this is the second lip thing that I officially owned!!! 

I was such a noob when I first got this and always (literally) screwed the lippie up too much. As a result, I KEPT BREAKING IT :-( it's left with such a sad, sad amount but meh, I know slightly better now 

B: Laneige Serum Intense Lipstick in DYR35: Shine Brown 

I took this from my mum's makeup drawer and because she reads my blog she'll probably realize now lololololol thx ma 

Innisfree: 

Innisfree Auto Eyebrow Pencil in Grey (SGD6) 

also influenced by weiling in bangkok la wtf sigh HAHAHA. But it's so cheaaaap and it works really good??? I really like the slanted tip, I think it makes it easier especially for noobs like me to use LOLOL 

Watsons (Singapore): 

got most of the following from their buy 3 get 33% off sale in May-June BECAUSE SUCH A GOOD DEAL!!!! 

L: Australis Stayput Longwear Foundation in Natural Tan (SGD10.60 / RTP15.90) 

I quite like the formula of this foundation but unfortunately the colour is a tad bit too dark/orange for me :-(((( I just mix this with my Biore sunscreen and it works okay aftewards, so not too bad of a purchase!!! 

M: Essence Longlasting Lipliner in Peach Party (SGD2.50) 

This is SO cheap and so good, I have no complains!!!! Goes on really smooth and doesn't feel like I'm dragging all the product on my lips!! 

 R: Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder (SGD5.90) 

My mum bought this for me quite long ago because I wanted a clear powder to set my concealer. I also want to try the highly raved Innisfree No-Sebum powder thing but I think for now, this works good enough for me!!! Makes my makeup quite matte, although I never could be bothered to see if it helps my makeup stay longer la LOL 

The powder isn't very "compact"/"pressed" though, so whenever I swirl my brush in this, there's a lot of fallout and powder just gets everywhere LOL. Since it's colourless, it's not too big of a deal la. I just wipe it away lololol 

T: Silkygirl Moisture Boost Lipcolor Balm in Rose (SGD10.30 / RTP12.90)
Good lipcolor for when I don't want anything too crazy and just want a tad bit of colour on my lip!!! My lips are pretty dark naturally la, so this lipcolor matches it pretty well LOL

Silkygirl Matte Fever Lipcolor Balm in Flame (SGD11.90 / RTP14.90) 

When I first got this, I felt so disappointed because it looked horrible and sooooo bright on my lips?? But I found that dabbing it on instead makes it look much better!!! I usually wear this to work because the color doesn't completely disappear throughout my shift and I love itttttttttttt

B: Silkygirl Matte Junkie Lip Cream in Vintage (SGD9.50 / RTP11.90)
This has lived up to its hype on Dayre!!! Goes on the lips really light and becomes nice and matte afterwards. Staying power is really good too???? aiya idk la but can trust all the wonderful reviews u see online about this LOLOL

Watsons (Malaysia): 

L: IN2IT Gel Tint for Lip & Cheek in Strawberry & Peach (~SGD3.60)
Don't actually know how great this product is because these are my first lip tints, but I think they do the job well enough!!! And SO CHEAP????????? I like to just dab a bit on my lips to act as a "base color", before topping it off with another lip product haha.

One thing is that they sting my lips a bit after I use them, which should be slightly concerning but so far my lips are still okay... lolol. But to be on the safe side, I bought 2 more lip tints on Althea.com to replace these LOL

M: IN2IT Lip Treat Lip Repair Balm in Orange (~SGD4)
Also very cheap but I really really like this and the pigmentation is super good for a lipbalm!!!! Never thought I'd be an orange lip girl but Peiru inspired me HAHA. Anyway as prev mentioned, my natural lips are pretty dark already so the orange doesn't show up super bright!!


Maybelline Pure Concealer Mineral in 02 (~SGD7.70)
Weiling (surprise, surprise) introduced this to me way back in Hong Kong '15, because back then my "concealer" was OxyCover and I wanted to get a proper one LOL.

I already finished one of these January this year, and am currently halfway my second tube. Repurchased this third tube in Malaysia to stock up because it's $16.90 in Singapore and only $7+ in Malaysia????
Anyway, I've been sticking to the same concealer since then because this works & matches pretty well to my skin tone. I bought like 2 other different concealers when I was running out of my first tube, but they both matched horribly to my skin??? So out of fear, I just went back to repurchase this again cause it was already tried & tested lololol


L: Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector (~SGD5.30)
Quite like Garnier's bb cream, I used up like 2 mini trial sized ones from 2-3 years back so I decided to get the full size. The coverage is light enough to just even out my skintone, which is what I'm looking for, and it smells like lemons which I really love HAHA

R: Biore UV Aqua Rich BB Essence (~$11?)
Read someone's post on dayre about the importance of wearing sunscreen so I freaked out and bought this HAHAHA. I don't think the bb aspect does much for my skin but it does leave me looking quite dewy and it gets absorbed into my skin really quickly. Not too bad of a product I feelz


L: Biore Micellar Cleansing Water (~SGD10)
This was such a good deal!!!!!!! In Singapore, the full size alone costs about $16.90 and I only paid $10 for that +++ a free travel sized one. Does its job well too so no complains hahaha

R: Schicks Razors (~SGD3-5)
Picked this up because cheap cheap cheap and always need need need lol wtf

A tad bit disappointing because dark lips = no obvious gradient sien :-(
Still a pretty shade of orange, although very similar to my $4 IN2IT lip balm LOLOL

L: Madre Labs Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner (SGD1.37)
Honestly couldn't really be bothered to use toner before, but I got this to try since this was only $1 wtf. I don't know if it's doing anything to my skin la but it hasn't broke me out.... also the rose scent makes me want to use this which is good cause I'm usually very lazy

R: Madre Labs Five-Piece Cosmetic Mini-Brush Set (SGD1.37)
Only bought this for the powder and kabuki brush!!! I don't use eyeshadow and I rather use my fingers/my beauty blender sponge dupe (from Kim hehe thx u :-*) for concealer, so the smaller 2 brushes go untouched. Cheap, does its job, very satisfied!!!! So proud of myself for finding such cheap deals leh really HAHAHA 

Paid SGD6 for the shipping so these 2 items were only about SGD8.80 total!!! 

Daiso: 
Not really makeup but just thought I'd throw it in

Got these acrylic containers for when I move in to Hall to store my radidly growing collection of makeup!!! I wanted to get the containers from Taobao, but didn't see the need for such a BIG one. These Daiso ones are just the right size to fit most of my very humble (for now) collection, so I'm very pleased HAHA. See also ownself happy hahaha

ok that's it!!!!!!!!!!! a bit siao that I jumped from completely 0 interest in makeup to choosing makeup over Taobao (gasps) in like 3 months ley!!!!!!! in my defence, most of my stuff were from cheaper brands/given to me for free/bought with vouchers/on sale la so not too crazy yet.

but I really need to stop already la wtf I keep telling myself not to go overboard because I only have one face and I am definitely not rich ((((yet)))). I just ordered stuff from Althea.com though HAHA but that will be Mav's advanced birthday present for me........ :---) we'll see how this self-control thing goes hahaha
