Highlights of 2015

Annual recap post of the year!!! This time I was too lazy to do a month-by-month recap like before so I'll just touch on the more significant events la hor hehe

Relationships 
Maverick & I 
I guess the most significant thing of 2015 for me is EASILY my relationship with Mav 

Quite an eventful year with him: we first met in March and started dating in April, Mav enlisted into the army in June and we also had our first (sort of but not really) overseas trip together in October :)

Friends 
The last quarter of the year wasn't the best, but it was still a good year overall 

To friends I got closer to this year,


Friends that I may have drifted apart from for multiple reasons (e.g. different empires/modules/internship) but still hold dear to my heart,


And good ol' friends that stayed since 2009

Also to the other friends I've made through FO Camp especially, thank you :-)

Travel 

Flew overseas twice this year.... without any accompanying adults!!! Both of which were very significant also haha

First was Hong Kong in March, which I paid entirely for myself wtf heart damn pain 

+ Kimbowly who we met in HK directly!!

Second trip was to Adelaide for my 6 weeks Overseas Student Internship Programme!! 

Still not done blogging about it but it was an incredibly enriching experience to say the least

School 

School was tough for the first half of the year

A lot of studying as per usual...

But a few significant events :-)

Addictive Psych & Abnormal Psych Projects 
The group projects I did in 2 of my Year 2.2 modules was showcased in TP's Mental Health Awareness exhibition.. and I was vvvv happy :)

Psychology Student Conference 
Such a nerdy thing to be excited about but who cares!!!!!!!! 

A research study (/experiment) my group did in Year 2.2 yielded some interesting results and my group was chosen to present our findings at the conference!!!

I also met Maverick because of this conference so that was a huge bonus too HAHA

Took a plunge and signed up to be an Orientation Group Leader at the HSS Freshman Orientation Camp AY15/16 

Did some crazy shit I wouldn't have imagined myself doing and it was such an incredibly tiring job


But all so worth it in the end :)
This FO Camp also played a significant role in the starting of Mav and I lolol but that's another story on its own HAHA

Joined the Psychology Studies Interest Group committee as a secretary

Got into the Director's List again for my results in Year 2 

Couldn't be more thankful :')

Miscellaneous 

Hillsong Worship No Other Name Tour 

Had my first ever concert experience with Weiling, and I couldn't have asked for a better one :)

CHAT Ambassador 

Was a CHAT ambassador for awhile... but didn't complete it mainly (but not only) due to my overseas internship midway through

19th Birthday Celebration 

A very simple one but thankful regardless :-)

Mental Health 

Don't have any pictures for obvious reasons... but besides Mav, this was rather significant as well. The beginning of 2015 wasn't the best for me and I was constantly struggling, trying to deal with all the stress and anxiety school was giving me. I had my first panic attack in January, a few more after that throughout the year. I had way too high expectations of myself and while it probably did push me to work hard, it probably wasn't the best for my mental health. As mentioned jn, my Abnormal Psych group project video was one of my most proudest "achievements" this year, but it was also probably one of the worst triggers I could have been exposed to. Editing and constantly rewatching the video triggered and worsened one of my compulsions and it got preeeetty bad. But with that being said, I'm coping a lot better now la so all is well :)

I remember saying 2014 was relatively boring HAHAHA but 2015 was the complete opposite la!! This is also my last year as a teenager wtf next year I'll be 20 and going to Uni which I really dread :( 

anyway I don't really know how to end so ok bye c u in 2016
